Amanda Cockrell Reads at Liminal, April 2012

Amanda Cockrell is primarily a novelist but also a creator of found object collage and sculpture. She is managing editor of Hollins University's literary journal, The Hollins Critic, and director of the University's graduate program in children's literature. She has been the recipient of fellowships in fiction from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Virginia Commission for the Arts. Her newest book is the young adult novel, What We Keep Is Not Always What Will Stay. This reading was held in conjunction with Exchange 81, an exhibit of art by students at Hollins University, Emory & Henry College and Roanoke College. The theme: Roadways. April 25, 2012 at Liminal: Alternative Artspace in downtown Roanoke's Community High School.
