Pokémon Black 0 Experience Natural Moveset Run - 1 - Striaton brothers (Chili)

Pokémon Black 0 Experience Natural Moveset Run - 1 - Striaton brothers (Chili)
Read descriptions for details. Playlist: www.youtube.com That title is getting shorter. It IS getting shorter. RAWR Anyways, now that we are just done with the Pokémon Sapphire Flying monotype run, might as well begin a new challenge. I've been wanting to do this when I finished my White let's play. When Black and White were just available in ROM format, only in japanese and whatnot, Nintendo, being smarty pants, thought of an anti-piracy measure: you couldn't get experience in the games no matter what if you used an emulator to play them. Of course hackers found their ways to lol at this measure, but still, early B/W a ton of people had to finish the game with this condition, which at certain points became 'impossible' due to how necessary experience is in a Pokémon game. This here is my take on that restriction, but with an extra rule to spice it up. We're playing through Pokémon Black without a single point of experience. Somewhat reminiscent of my Diamond 0 exp run so! I have some experience to go along. Rules of this thing: - No experience can be gained from ANY battle. (we don't bypass the anti-piracy measure for this) - No TMs or HMs can be taught to any Pokémon. - No move relearner. - No rare candies allowed. We're playing wild Pokémon at their purest here. At the start of this challenge this doesn't seem all that different from a regular 0 exp run but as we go along we cry in pain due to resisting the urge of teaching new stuff. A single TM can make a world of ...
